What to Expect
Genesis Dance Project offers an immersive, high-energy experience with classes in all dance styles, including Contemporary, Jazz, Ballet, Street Jazz, Theater Jazz, Ballroom, and more— taught by inspiring industry professionals. Plus, we’re turning things up with exclusive bonus classes like voice, improvisation, and surprise experiences designed to spark creativity, confidence, and versatility. Train hard, try it all, and leave feeling unstoppable!
Intentionally structured by artists actively working in the industry, this dance fest will offer guidance, insight, and real-world experiences rooted in today’s dance landscape.

AGES & FEES
All ages for the Genesis Dance Project are as of January 1, 2026. Each dancer will be issued a wristband that reflects their assigned ballroom during registration on Friday. Wristbands must be worn throughout the weekend.
Teachers: Teacher wristbands will be offered based on event registration and ballroom space. Wristbands will be sold at our event registration on Friday for $50.
Observers: Observer wristbands will be offered based on event registration and ballroom space. Wristbands will be sold at our event registration on Friday for $60. Observers will not be permitted in the audition combo class and audition.
Genesis Dance Project reserves the right to limit the number of observers per ballroom- based on attendance and space limitations. Wristbands will not be needed for welcoming reception, meet & greet, Q&A, and closing ceremony.

Rules & Regulations

The host hotel, facility, and Genesis Dance Project are not responsible for any injury, illness, or loss of property. Make sure to sign the waiver prior to participation.

All dancers under the age of 16 who are registered with the Genesis Dance Project must be accompanied by an adult of a legal age.

Please make sure all personal items are as far back against the walls of the ballroom or under the chairs, at all times. This is to ensure all dancers have plenty of space and to avoid injury.

Dancers should dress for movement and performance — athletic or dancewear you can move comfortably in!
Dancers must wear cover-ups and shoes when outside the ballroom. We kindly ask that everyone be respectful of hotel guests and shared public spaces.

By attending Genesis Dance Project, all choreographers and participants grant permission for photos and videos taken during the event to be used for promotional, advertising, and professional purposes.
Photo and video during classes are allowed. We kindly ask that all filming and photography be done thoughtfully and without disrupting the class experience.
