Gisele Silva is a performing artist, instructor and choreographer hailing from São Paulo, Brazil. With a diverse background in tap dance, jazz, modern dance, and Afro-Brazilian movement,  Ms. Silva has established herself as a prominent figure in the international dance community. Her work has also been featured in leading publications, including The New York Times, Dance Magazine, and Forbes Brasil.

As the dance captain and member of Chloe Arnold’s Syncopated Ladies, she has been gracing stages all over the U.S. Her work with Syncopated Ladies includes multiple sold-out national tours and appearances at the Apollo Theater, Lincoln Center, Essence Festival, BET Awards, CNN's New Years Eve Live and more.

Ms. Silva is also a founding member of the critically acclaimed New York-based tap company Music From The Sole, known for its innovative fusion of tap and live music. She has performed at prestigious venues, including The Joyce Theater, Guggenheim Museum, Jacob’s Pillow, and Vail Dance Festival, where her dynamic performances have garnered critical acclaim and captivated audiences with her artistry.

Recently Gisele performed with Dorrance Dance at The Ford in Los Angeles and toured with the company in their production, "Nutcracker Suite" playing the lead role of Clara at venues such as The Kennedy Center and New York City Center. Gisele also had the unique honor of participating in the White House’s 2023 Holiday campaign, performing throughout the East Wing.

As a teaching artist, Gisele has taught for numerous tap festivals and conventions all over the world including Tap in Rio, DC Tap Fest, Hollywood Tap Fest, Artist Simply Human, Turn it Up Dance Competition and Shake the Ground. She also teaches regularly at Debbie Allen Dance Academy and for after school programs through Chloe and Maud Foundation in Los Angeles, CA.

Beyond tap dance, Gisele is an accomplished Jazz and modern dancer. She is a member of the Afro-Brazilian Dance Company Viver Brazil, where she serves as both a performer and teaching artist. Some of her other credits include performing at Disney California Adventure Park, DanceOn on YouTube; NBA Halftime Shows, Brazilian Carnaval; and Rock in Rio. You can also see Gisele in the Apple TV+ musical film, “Spirited” starring Will Ferrell, Ryan Reynolds and Octavia Spencer.
